Statement of Curriculum

Carriage House Day Care has chosen Pinnacle Curriculum, a research-supported curriculum, to use in the Toddler and Preschool classrooms.  Through the curriculum, your child will explore a well-rounded balance of learning experiences and have many opportunities to develop important skills needed to be successful in school.

A wide range of topics will be discussed this school year, including the following:

The children enrolled in the Pre-K classroom are those preparing to enter Kindergarten.  The Get Set For School curriculum by Handwriting Without Tears is utilized in this room.  Get Set for School helps young learners gain the skills and experiences they need for lifelong learning success.  Our hands-on curriculum focuses on the three core learning areas - readiness & writing, language & literacy, and numbers & math.  The children sing, dance, color, build and explore on their journey to Kindergarten!
