Our staff have been carefully selected for their warmth, education, experience and creative talents. As part of our hiring process, staff are given an orientation during which they are introduced to Carriage House and its policies. The staff of Carriage House is expected to strive for continual improvement in all aspects of our work with children and families.
Each of our staff members must meet the following requirments, to qualify for employment:
Fingerprinted (federal and state), upon hiring
Criminal conviction check, upon hiring
Tuberculin test, upon hiring
Biannual health statement
At least 16 years of age
First aid and CPR certified (by agency approved by Dept. of Public Health), full time staff only
Continuing education (equal to 1% of their total annual hours worked)
